Coney Island
Ran to Coney Island on Sunday for my Easter day run. Not only was the day perfection, but Coney Island (as gross as it can be) was incredibly refreshing. I got my “I’m from California and never see pretty beaches anymore” fix, which is A-OK with me.

Prospect Bark Park
Probably my favorite thing I do in the city is go to Prospect Park uber early (read: before 9am! ouch..) on Sat/Sun mornings. Pita and make the schlep via a leisure walk, bike ride, or run. It’s really a site to be seen as there are thousands of dogs in every breed imaginable running around having the time of their life. Such a blast!

{ fun listening to dog owners scream at the top of their lungs for their dogs to get out of the mud pit }

Spring! (almost)
So, technically it’s spring. Although, if you live in NYC and look outside right now, it looks more of a sad winter. This doesn’t mean its all gray and drear everywhere. Saturday, lil Peet and I went to the park and noticed that spring was working really hard to break thru the winter clouds.
