This year’s Halloween was a pretty successful one, if I do say so myself. Most of you know I’m not the biggest fan of “dressing up.” In the past, especially in college, I’d just watch scary movies and hang out w/ friends or whatever. Last year, I dressed up for the first time (as a vintage golfer/french or scottish school girl - still not quite sure) since probably being a child and happened to meet someone kinda special ;)
Since then, I’ve had a bit more of an affinity for the holiday. This year I not only dressed up once, but TWICE in TWO DIFFERENT costumes. Color me proud.
The first night I went to MandaCooks & Linnae’s House Party as a Starbucks Barista. The costume was provided from my local Starbs manager - Jeremiah. Pretty awesome, if you’d ask me!

The second night I had hoped to find something a bit more interesting than a butterfly, but since I don’t like dressing slutty, wanted to make sure I stayed as warm as possible (its cold out here now!), and the lines at Ricky’s/Party City were too much - I opted to stick w/ my original choice. I think it turned out just fine.

All in all, a pretty great Halloween. The actual day of I bought $20 worth of candies at Target and was the best person to trick or treat to since I let them have as much as they could possibly want. I was just so excited! You dont get this in apartment buildings like I’ve been living in for years.

{LP the grape :) - made her walk for two blocks in this costume before I got embarressed and took off}
The evening capped off with a dinner of char with hericot vert and a side salad of fennel and fresh sea scallops, followed by pumpkin pie and vanilla bean ice cream.

A bunch of things are awesome with this photo.
A very cute boy walking a dog dressed as a grape on a beautiful fall day.
Great Halloween Weekend :)
still not sure what LP should be. everyone says the grape. but i kinda think its funny she could be a witch!
what do you all think?
