Yesterday, Jason Russell was arrested for public masturbation and intoxication. I can only imagine the stress he was under given all of the scrutiny, attention, and criticism they’ve been receiving. That being said … this certainly won’t help.
Incidentally, as a mental health worker I can tell you that in the state of California, someone needs to be in a much graver condition than “drunk” to warrant a 5150 (an involuntary psychiatric hold) … it’s generally reserved for severe psychotic states or danger to self or others.
Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested…
Wow this is so sad and shocking. Hope he gets the treatment he needs.
